When a manufacture wants to sell excess stock , they tag it as returns , refurbished , seconds , dent and scratch ect ect
99% of the time it is the exact same product sold retail , but the manufactures can't sell to the discounters and retailers the same product (contract wise)
My Photwatts actually did have some very minor damage , about half a tiny chip of one of the 36 cells. The panels actually exceed there name plate rating , but they couldn't sell as firsts
My inverters could care less , you can't see it unless your a foot from the panel and know where to look ... get the idea ?
As for evergreen , if it was my money , I'd stay with someone who is likely to be around in a few years and can backup the warrenty , ever green has never made a profit , even now with the shortages (check ticker eslr for all the details)
You can buy new-in-box photowatts for almost the same price. A pair of pw16500-155 or 165's will power a Suntie (granted 200-250 watt peak) but you get the idea
Did you find out if youer inverter is the upgraded -UPG ?
