My array is flat on the west facing slope of my roof. It wakes up the GT about an hour after sunrise, and then just from ambient light, only puts out couple hundred watts till mid-AM, when the sun finally lights the panels. In the microclimate in my area, we often have foggy AM's and usually, clear sunsets. I went with west facing panels in my case, and good production often continues right till sunset. Helps that there is no shade on my 2nd story roof, except for a palm tree, half way down the block, that gets me a 3pm in December.

Looks like you are generating alot more having the Panels on the West side, I have the same problem with Morning Haze or AM Fog, but I didn't want to have a view of the panels from the front of the house and thats why they are facing East.

$60K and you don't want anyone to see it ? Dang, Wish I could afford that, I just point to my roof and say that's my new car.

New record for me, 49kwh !!! would be nice to see 50kwh. I guess if my East Panels were West I could probably hit 50kwh easy on a day like today.

It's some stuff I got from an electrical house, Just spray on the heatsink and wires, and buff in. Not.

My GT just seems to be running that way. Check it at 2:30 pm, it should be running at it's hottest then, I've observed as temps go up, the efficenicy goes down, but even hot, I seldom see it below 94%
Some may also say there is no calibration in the system, and it's just meaningless. I have a small fan blowing on mine, to keep temps cooler

Not meaningless, but realize that the units are +/- 1% on reported readings plus some fixed allowance ... the GT3.8's are really good units, mid 95% is real, not imaginary

I know the units inside/out; they use the very latest and best semiconductor part available.

As for wanting more, if you have morning fog, yup, face them west. I have the opposite problem, good in the morning, but afternoon rains EVERYDAY in the wet season ... and yes, my two big arrays are west-south west, that’s just the way the house was built and where available space for the panels were ...

I think I'm doing ok for now, later in the Future if we can Sell Back our energy then I will most likely get another array facing the West (Front of the house) with the black matching frame.

Finally for a few minutes I saw higher Efficiency

I can tell by your peak ac value your having partly cloudy/edge of cloud events. When this happens, the efficiency numbers reported are bogus as the reported AC/DC numbers are not 100% in sync.

Even though I'm sure we would all want 98.4%, thats just the unit ramping up or down in responce to irradiance changes
