I can tell by your peak ac value your having partly cloudy/edge of cloud events. When this happens, the efficiency numbers reported are bogus as the reported AC/DC numbers are not 100% in sync.

Even though I'm sure we would all want 98.4%, thats just the unit ramping up or down in responce to irradiance changes

Ah great, I was about to take my wife out to celebrate the 98.4% efficiency but since it was a bogus report, I guess I will hold off on that dinner celebration LOL.

one thing you can do ( I forgot to mention this ) is in the settings, you can configure the screen update rate. If a value is selected that is slower than the polling rate ( 1 second fast pc mde, 4 seconds slow ) GT-View will average the readings and provide a much more stable efficiency value.

I would suggest, 4 seconds for fast PC mode, more if your running slow PC mode ...

I just completed an installation of SunPower SPRx-4000 inverters, and have attached them to an Ethernet terminal server, and mapped the PC com ports to the reverse-telnet session for GT-View. I am running the beta version 1.9, which has been OK except for hanging up on FTP writes occassionally. Perhaps if the FTP attempt timed out and cancelled itself just before the expiration of the polling interval, it could try each ftp transfer anew. Anyway, You can see the output at:

Nifty, getting it working via ethernet translators.

I also get occasional FTP errors, but sometimes, I think it's just internet connections, between my wireless laptop, collecting data, and the router, and DSL, and SBC/Yahoo, and my ISP.
Welcome, and you have an awesome system.

Very nice system, and thanks for posting your review/pictures. Its great to have the room to be able to intall them on a pole as you did and then be able to adjust the angle or set them up to track the sun daily with an actuator and light sensor to get the most production out of it.

Nice set up, thanks again for posting.

Are you guys noticing lower daily rates this year???? Or is it just me?? Just wondering because last year I was hitting high 40's and 50k a few times, this year I been averging high 30's.... one problem might be more freakin marine layer here off the cost each morning so I lose an hour or 2 of Solar.
