Hello,

I wanted to see what sg-view looked like and to get things set up so I downloaded the latest version just now and got a comm port error when I start the program up. I can understand this error because there are no comm ports on this PC yet.

When I attempted to view the settings, I get "registry error, win error code: 2". What does this mean? I do see an sg-view.ini file in the same directory that I ran sg-view from.

I have never run SG-View on a PC without comm ports, the error is probably related to the method of how ports are enumerated for the setting page ....

I'm always surpised on how things can break for the users, this is a test I never thought to run and I won't be looking to fix :lol:

After I put the comm port card in, sg-view worked without incident.

FYI, my install starts tomorrow.
