Why is the password not conceal? :?: The new GT view is great with new look, but my site was comprise and I went back to the old GT view. Thanks for all the hard work...

As I am changing specification online it capture the image and transmit the password so everyone can seeit. In the old GT viewer it was all stars hidden.

Does this explain it.

I'm not sure I understand the question?

The only password in SG-View is the FTP upload, and that is the same in GT-View and SG-View and a limitation with the standard FTP protocol

:?:

If someone, or malware, takes control of your computer, they "own" your computer. They can see EVERYTHING on it. Passwords, credit cards. Everything. There is no effective way to conceal a password, except from someone who knows nothing about computers. (unless you encrypt the hard drive) Nothing related to SGview.

If you are speaking of someone "hacked" into your FTP account, they hacked your FTP account, that has nothing to do with SGview. If you do not use a strong password (10 or more random chrs) any FTP acct can be hacked very quickly by the "Thousands of Hackers" looking for "free" storage space on the internet.. Still, nothing to do with SGview.

If someone is "packet sniffing" YOUR connection, you have problems. Still, nothing to do with SGview.
