Post subject:  Xantrex inverter problem

I have an Xantrex GT3.0-NA-DS-240.
The lifetime unit number read 15777 one month and then the next month the lifetime for the unit read 436. I lost 15,481 kw in the reading some how. Any ideas why this might have happened?

Was it SG-View or the actual inverter that rolled over?

16777216 is 2 to the 24th power, sounds like a variable is only 24bits and rolled over

The actual inverter rolled over or changed the number. This inverter is one of three for a 9.86K system. Is there any way to see what the each inverter readings are in the SG-View software? I noticed that one is shown with the system totals what about the other two? I also have a 16K system with 5 inverters, which are Magnetek. I use the Aurora Communicator software which shows each inverter and the system totals. Thanks for your help.

You need one to one monitoring to get the unit kWh reported, only the combined kWr is reported by the single unit. I believe Xantrex now has the SCP to Xanbus connect are retrieve information.

Sounds like a Xantrex bug, you can upgrade the firmware via RS232, contact Xantrex via there 800 number to get more information
