I have a new solar system with 7 Xantex GT3's
I am trying to automate the gathering of data about my system.
I have 7 copies of GTView up and running on a PC.
And have been working on excel spreadsheets to analyze the data.
But I also want to include the consumption data, and at the moment
this means reading my meter every day.

My new net metering meter (model GEkv2cs) has a button on the front.
The guy who installed the meter clipped, what appeared to be a IR to USB converter, on to it and used a laptop to communicate with the meter.
Does anyone know where I can buy one of these adapters and how I could use it to allow my PC to read my meter???
