I've noticed that even at night when the SunTie is offline, my Greenlee CM-600 clamp on AC current meter shows 1.1 amps on each leg of the AC circuit. If I turn the breaker off it falls to zero. It's producing no heat. I don't know why my meter would give a false reading. Only thing I know to do to confirm this is put a .5 amp fuse in the AC circuit when it's offline and see if the blows.

This is one of the new improved GP units. Otherwise, it has been running perfectly.

Your "clamp on" amp meter is not correcting for power factor ... the nighttime draw , power factor corrected is about 4 watts

This is a common mis-understanding of AC power and common clamp on meters
