I am recording data from 7 inverters at a solar test site in Seal Beach Ca. I have 4 PV power, 2 SMA, and one Xantrex. Thus far I have been able to get my labview program to read the data from the PVP and SMA but not the Xantrex. I did make a work around for xantrex. By running SG VIEW and reading the data log using labview I can get everything but status and total KWH. I get inverter status using the first few characters from the status string which I guessed to mean; ST:3= Online, ST:0= Waiting, ST:4= Sleeping.

Did I guess correctly?

Also, is there a way to make SG VIEW record KWH total?

The extended status was not documented by Xantrex, so can't help on that

Been some time, but I'm pretty sure the unit reported lifetime kWr is not accessible via the RS232 command set
