I came across to some Suntech solar panels. Suntech is Chinese manufacturer and it appear on many online retailers listings, such as MrSolar and wholesalesolar web sites.

They also have aggressive plans on expanding their capacity worldwide:

Could not find if they have UL listings... so if not they are not good for any grid tie installations?

Comments?

I know for a fact that the Suntech 170 and 175 W modules are UL listed. So I guess you can use these panels for grid-tied applications. These are very good panels and Suntech is really expanding on the US PV market. I know of a good company that offers these panels on the east coast and never once had they any issues in regards to performance, etc. Availability was never an issue with them and they are very dependable.
