Gents,

Chemtrails, I've learned, are what they call a aircraft contrail that "just hangs on". They tend to spread, creating a general haze.

I have a new client that is quite concerned with them, and was asking me if they would impact their off-grid plans with regards to photovoltaic panels.

Now, there's a fair bit of "black helicopter stuff" surrounding the whole origin and purpose of chemtrails, but that's not what I'm after right now.

My question to my learned peers is does high-altitude cloud-haze have much effect on ground based PV?

High altitude haze interference, the day after 9/11 when all air travel was banned, federal scientists and weather watchers noticed that the amount of sunlight reaching ground level actually increased and subsequent reports (I wish I had saved them) say that temperatures went up slightly. However, it was stated that ground level pollution from vehicles and industry had a far higher impact on sunlight levels than aircraft exhaust trails, even though the amount was detectable.
