Data Clarification:

I have been looking at many soloar panel manufactures but came onto a question. I have noticed that one panel has a lower Amp max and higher voltage than the other.

My question is which is the better combination, it seems that a panel with higher Amp is better but how does the Voltage play into this equation. I will be hooking it up to STXR1500UPG starting with 2 panels in series for 48v.

So which is better the 175 watt with 4.95A @ 35.4V or 167 watt with 7.1A @ 23.5V?

SHARP NT-175U1 High power 175 watt module
Maximum power is 4.95 Amps @ 35.4 Volts peak.

SHARP ND-167U1 High power 167 watt module
Maximum power is 7.1 Amps @ 23.5 Volts peak.

Thanks, Eztec4u

you need two 175s in series or three 167 in series. These are very different voltage modules.
