What is the easiest way to get your array angle on a pitched roof? My roof has a 8/12 pitch. Thanks |

they also sell a tool that can give angles. it is circular with a pointer always pointing up or down or even sideways in the example below so when placed on an angle the pointer points to the angle. most i have seen also have a magnet on the bottom of the tool, but that won't stick to an aluminum pv frame or mount. they are called magnetic protractors and aren't all high priced. http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product. ... 0939840000 |

Ask any high schooler - they should know. inv tan 8/12 = 33.6 degrees But I DO like Gup's kwik & dirty. |
