The Sharp SRS

A New, More Beautiful Solar System

Sharp has developed a Solar Racking System (SRS) that is not only more efficient and easier to install, it’s also more attractive.
With most racking systems, our installers need to climb up on the roof and cut the installation rails to size, which is unwieldy, time–consuming and labor intensive — and equals greater expense for our clients. The SRS utilizes a shared rail system that requires 30% less rail than conventional systems, which means less material on the roof and fewer roof penetrations.
None of the mounting structure is visible because of a new system of Talon clips, which grip securely and integrate seamlessly. Trim covers decrease wind drag, improve water channeling, and provide a streamlined, finished look.
An additional benefit is that the SRS has integrated grounding, which enables savings on upfront equipment costs and provides a continuous flow of electrical current.
All of these features make the Sharp Solar Racking System an attractive option for residential and light commercial installations. Sharp has covered all the bases with the SRS, providing efficiency and ease, cost effectiveness, and aesthetics.

Yikes -- If there is a "continous flow of electrical current" through your grounding, then it's time to disconnect the system and get your installer back on the roof. :)

I think this is more along the lines of integral UL approved grounding... Saves having to drill and bolt a green wire between every panel and frame.

Should be just a quicker way to achieve a listed "safety" ground.
