I have moderately hard water in my area. My solar panels are installed nearly flat and thus will need frequent cleaning. Is it OK to wash them with high pressure tap water or should I invest in a deionizer?

If you wash the panels after sundown and you dry them off, you should be able to use tap water and not worry about leaving water spots (i.e., mineral deposits) on the panels.

I've considered using one of the carwash rinse agents, or even the Mr Clean carwash, with the DI rinse cartridge.

I'm not sure I want to be on wet roof, in sunset conditions, and I can't reach the center of my panels anyway. They have a textured glass, so a squeegee wont work.
