Where? I can't see where its $3.15 a watt. I see $4.00 a watt for Photowatt. Do they not list seconds on their site?

Oh, duh. I didn't look on the start page, I immediately looked for the page listing "SOLAR PANELS" and expected them to list everything there. Silly me.... Why don't they list them on thier panels page though? Do they only keep what they regularly have in stock on the "Solar Panels" page and deal items only appear on the start page? They dont even list seconds or B modules on thier page marked for listing panels. Nice site for deals though, wow.

And just think, if you live in Florida and act SOON, your system is FREE! Florida has that awesome $4/W rebate :).

... oh, and btw, that $1.00/W does sound good. They say they are already sold out for the next 12 to 18 months though :(. It "seems" real, but like SolarGuppy, I too am WAY skeptical. There have been WAY too many scams saying the exact same thing. I'll be interested to see a few of their panels installed before I jump on the hype machine. Also, I'd like to see how efficient their panels are. I know they say they opted for cheaper manufacturing costs vs. efficiency, but still, if a 180W panel is the size of a parking lot, well...

Sorry for the spam. Here's a link to the Popular Science page on their technology. Like the solar cells they produce, it's a little "thin."

HAH. In maine you cant get any more than a $2000 rebate and thats if you have it professionally installed. All that did was get local installers to up their starting rate for installation to $2000 minimum. Thats why rebates in Maine are USELESS!!!!! This is why I'm a do it yourselfer.

Yes, I added 5kw in June, a great portion of which was paid by the Florida Rebate Program. I have 12kW online now ..

i like you am very skeptical as even if they manage $1/w i'd like to know how well it's made and how long it'll last as like in guarantees, what it will output/area (efficiency), etc..
what do you mean they're sold out for 12-18 months? did they tell you that? to be sold out means people either already have them or they prepaid them for vaporware. or could it be most likely this is all bull chit?
