Post subject: | Evergreen panel update |
I did some more checking and found a local supplier who will sell me the new Kyocera panels for around $4/watt. I will likely purchase from them and they will do the design for me as well. I plan on doing the install with my father in law. I was wondering if others were seeing panel prices coming down as well? Maybe I got lucky. Thanks. |

you did pretty good, but i wouldn't say prices are falling just yet. this link that solar guppy had given before has many low prices in it. http://www.ecobusinesslinks.com/solar_panels.htm |

I saw that sale too, for like 1 day over the weekend! It's a no brainer purchase at that price! I was ready to jump on it, but I got in to work on Monday and the price was back up to 3.14/watt... Right now it's back down to $2.94/watt. I will buy these in a second if I knew I could sell 3 or 4 of them locally. I only need 1 (maybe 2 at that price), but they require minimum of 6 to purchase due to shipping... I have a co-worker willing to go in with me for 1 or 2 modules.. I just don't want to get stuck with the rest! I'm wondering if the UL listed ones would be easier to sell? That is another concern I have. The 2.94 price is for the "B" non-UL listed modules. |
