Post subject:  WattSun Tracker

I'm looking at buying a couple WattSun AZ 225 trackers and wondering if anyone has any experience with these, or other WattSun Trackers. They look like they're well made, but how something looks is not always the reality. Primarily, I'm looking for reliability, and accuracy in tracking. I've heard both reliability and tracking accuracy have been issues with trackers - not necessarily with the WattSun, but, the bad stories I've heard about are lacking details.

Tia,
Michael

I have had the Wattsun tracker beginning the 4th year model AZ225.

I had purchased the extended warranty which cost 50.00 for 5 year. I thought that cheap. I figured that for such a low cost and that long time then the manufacture must believe it will last a long time. I purchased the model that is powered by electricity. Therefore the tracker will return to the morning position at night. Also I purchased the unit that you can operate manually.
I have had only one problem. The tracker suddenly quit tracking properly.
I sent the sensing unit back to the factory and it has been working great ever since. No problems with the company nor the product. It has stood up to about 50-60 MPH winds. I have 16 120 watt panels on it at the present time.
Would I recommed the Wattsun, yes
I hope for you the best
