I have had success using a USB - serial converter with a laptop. I've not tried the web access yet. I programmed a custom charge sequence, with a longer absorb time, as I think my tired batteries needed more than 60 minutes they were getting. |

I have tried some of the Crown 225 batteries to replace my trojans and I think that they worked pretty well. If you could get a hold of anyone advertising it, you could actually get a relatively good deal out of it. For less, you get more. My last trojan lasted almost 6 years before I had to get a replacement one, and I was hoping to have the same output with the Crowns. |

I have had good luck with Crown 225 batteries as well mine lasted a good 6 years before they went out. Not sure of the warranty on them. I think it is just as good as the new Trojans. Though a seven year warranty on batteries is hard to pass up. ________________ San Jose electrician |
