NEC regs require solar panels on a roof to be ground fault protected. In the WX-MPPT60-150, this is done by the ground to PV Minus bond being made thru the WX charger, which has a Ground Fault detection circuit.

If another ground to PV Minus bond is made else where in the "system", it will disable this required protection

Now on the C60, the ground connection is NOT bonded to the PV Minus or Battery Minus, ground is for the MOV's protection. Also any other equipement ground would be similar, Ground is NOT PV or Battery Minus ... it only becomes bonded at one place.

In an older system, that would be at the battery terminal, now its at the WX charger.

Hope this helps

Post deleted by Mod as its redundant ........

Question has been answered, move the ground to PV minus bond from the battery to the new charger, one wire gets moved

The XW has a jumper included to disable the GFP for people like me who have a system wired as per Xantrex SW spec inverters with a DC250 disconnect junction box with a -ve ground bond and a Xantrex tech.

This is usefull for systems not covered by NEC ( North American ) installations that do not have the GFP requirements
