I’m looking at using a rotary marine battery disconnect switch for my off grid battery bank. http://store.altenergystore.com/Enclosu ... -Amp/p250/ Its rated 350A cont. 1750A inrush. My 12VDC input inverter is 2kW Cont. 4.5kW Surge. Bank of 4 GC2 220ah Batteries, 4/0 Cabling, 300A fuse. Does anyone have experience with using this type of switch for off grid installations? I think I would use it, as long as your fuse is at 300 A, I'd feel OK. |
