Software issue here. Don't know where else to put his as I can't start a new forum and this is software unrelated to the other ones. Anyway, I have a Sunpower panel + Xantrex inverter system and my installer has attached a Sunpower brand "data logger" to it which is connected to my router/switch. Data is uploaded to Sunpower for near realtime info about the inverter via webpages. I tried to "browse" the device thinking it has a baby web server it in. It appears it might but I will apparently need more than an IP address to access it as in a page name. It comes back "Sevice Not Available" in browser or some similar message when just typing in the IP address. Anybody out there know any thing about this? I would like to access the current output and daily total. I can't "scrape" the webpage because it is locked down with https & authentication, etc. (I'm not sure why the security!). As a last resort, I will disconnect the data logger and connect a serial line to my computer and connect SG view but I'd rather use this data logger since it is already sitting there. |
