I've been using GT View to monitor my SunPower 4.5kW CEC AC system for many months now. A few months ago I checked the forum and found a GT View 1.9 beta that fixed a hardcoded limit on peak power in ver 1.6. (My system exceeded on every sunny day.) Ver 1.9 has been working fine until about two weeks ago, when it started getting an exception and crashing now and then, getting more frequent as the days pass to almost daily lately. Rebotting my Home XP Media Edition PC does not help. I can no longer find any GT View support on the web, except for the ver 1.6 download from Xantrex. Has anyone else seen this problem lately with GT View 1.9 Beta? I though maybe it was related to some recent Microsoft XP bug fix or something. Solar-Guppy's web site seems to be virtually gone, with only a link to this forum remaining, so I'm not sure if GT View is supported at all anymore. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I'd try another PC ... or if you have USB -> RS232 possibly a bad converter

The program doesn't "age"

I'm no longer supporting GT-View, that contract finished almost 3 years ago

Thanks for all the support you did afterwards, helping many of us get it running. Mine still runs (mostly) when my wi-fi works right.
