Hi,

Am new here though not new to solar energy - for the last 10 years am living off grid near the Atlantic oceans of southern Spain.

Wanted to ask what are the differences between the Morning Star Mppt model & the Outback Mppt model, as I would like to change my old charge controller,

Thanks

The manuals for each can be downloaded and read.

From what I know (own a MS MPPT-60 with optional digital meter) the firmware was easy to upgrade via RS232, has a web interface built in, no fan, and easy to wire. Downloading monthly data is easy too.
