What's the average temp folks see on the GT inverters? I'm getting 160 F (71C) and wonder at what point the inverter throttles back to protect itself?
-added paragraph-
Apparently - Fan Kits are no longer supported - even the pins on the inverter board are absent, only solder blobs. I had to return the ordered fan kit. Off to Frys I suppose, to get a thermal controlled fan. Outdoors, in my neighborhood, hanging a $3000 item on the house is not a option, and the south wall would have toasted it pretty good anyway. I have plenty of space around and above it, just need a fan now.

GT-View FTP worked fine for about 3 hrs, then started failing to upload:
Resolving hostname ftp.users.dslextreme.com.
Connecting to 66.51.205.18.
Connected.
Connection established
Sending Changedir command
Set mode to binary
Sending upload command
Disconnecting.
Disconnected.
Sending file failed
but no clear error message about why Suggestions ?

I have seen some ISP's have issues with high amounts of logins/FTP, they are use to a couple of logins day, not 60 an hour.

My current ISP ( godaddy ) has no issues, I have all three inverters sending the png files ever 5 minutes, been doing this for 2 years without any issues

If GT-View works once, you have it configured properly, the issue is either your ISP or Hosting provider.

As for derating, I belive its 70C where it starts to protect, GT-View will display tempature derating if the unit is and what the DC power limit has been reduced too.

The GT's are designed to be outdoor mounted to get airflow, indoor mounting is not a perfered method
