My inverter has to be sent in for repairs. It's a known issue with a chip on the motherboard. Has anyone else had to send their inverter back to Xantrex? I was wondering how long it took you to get it back and be back online. I hate to waste all this California sunshine.

You had the option of giving them a credit card number and they would have sent out a replacement before you took down your inverter, no cost. CC is to make sure you return the bad inverter

Call the xantrex 800 number for when to expect your replacement unit

I'll have my contractor look into that. As it stands the Home Depot/BP customers are taking precendent over other suppliers in turning around these defective units, which seems mighty crappy to me. I found out today that even those Home Depot customers are still waiting for their units after 3 weeks.
