You add another string of panels in PARALLEL to the first string. If there are only 1 set input connectors, you need a Solar Combiner Box to make the actual parallel connections and fuses (if
more than 2 parallel strings) and then you run a large gauge wire to the charge controller.
The XW4024 only has an internal AC line charger, for solar, you need to use a separate charge controller - like a MPPT60-150. I'm using a Tristar MPPT 60 myself.
