i have 135 watts of panels with 3 deep cycle marine batteries. my two questions: can i run a 3000 watt inverter off this setup?
i have them wired pos to pos/ neg to neg. is this ok?
thanks , i am pretty new at this.

The simple answer is yes but the better question is what load and for how long. A typical battery is about 100AH at 12v so each one will give you about 1kW-Hr of storage maximum so you have about 3kW-Hrs of storage of which I would recommend using no more than half of on a regular basis/consistent basis. 3kW inverters normally are 24v DC input put there are a few that take 12v input but remember to generate 3kW from 12v DC you will be pulling close to 300A from the batteries!
