I received an email that says Sharp has announced their SunVista JH-3500U Inverter (with UL approval) today.
They have supposedly sold > 60,000 units in Japan, does anyone know how these units are doing in the field?
Or how they measure up in other competitive areas (like pricing, reliability, support, etc.)?
The inverter is rated for 3500w maximum continuous output, 3000w rated output power, takes up to 3 separate strings of up to 7.5A/240vdc each, & they are supposedly "matched" to the Sharp product line.
They say that the inverter "can take up to three different input strings each varying by number, model and angle of modules" and they also claim %92 peak effeciency... I'd be very interested to know if they can say both things for a given installation, or if the effeciency drops off where there are mismatches.
