What page are the pin connections on in the manual?
Do I need to connect each inverter to get all the inverter data even though I have the two inverters linked and one connected to the PC.
Would I need to connect a separate DB9 for each inverter into the computer?
I only have on DB9 port.
Could I use the RJ45 port on the computer?

3. Protocol
The GT inverter implements a standard RS232 protocol. It is designed to be a data communication
equipment (DCE); therefore, on the DB9, pin 2 is the transmit data pin and pin 3 is the receive pin. To
connect to a computer ( DTE ) a straight through cable is needed.
The settings for the RS232 are 9600-N-8-1.
linked inverters only share some data. to view complete data from all inverters, you need several DB9 serial cables. Some folks report success with USB ports and converters, but I have 1 inverter, and have not tried it.
The RJ connector on the inverter uses a NON STANDARD connection, it is not Ethernet data. It will fry your Computer & Inverter. I think anyone who takes a current standard connector like a RJ45, and puts non-standard data into it, should be held libel for ALL damages. POOR interface design, in order to simplify buying jumper cables to chain inverters. They should have used 16 pin DIP jumpers or anything else.
