N6QJJ, No I don't have an Antenna Farm here, maybe when I retire, I will have the time to set up an HF rig and some Di-pole Antennas or buy the one off that guy down the street LOL. I used to own a killer Kenwood 840 with a side VFO for Mars operations. But those days are long gone. What killed it for me was 2meter radio. Now I don't even do that. Now I sail here in San Diego, we sail a 34 foot catalina and its pretty much modified to kick so butt. We are doing great after only sailing for 2 years. Thats my passion now, and it gets me out of the house on the weekends.

As a Marine stationed in Okinawa, I made many calls via MARS, and then was custodian of the MARS station in Cherry Point, when I came back stateside. When overseas calls were $15 min, it was sure appreciated. Thanks.

I ran a Mars station on the USS Juneau during Operation Desert Storm for the Marines, I made alot of friends and got to drink alot of free cokes lol. It was so cool to get them connected to love ones back home in the states from out in the middle of the I.O.

Not a bad day today, I made or well the Sun produced 44.5kwh today. Tomorrow is all Sun, I should see record highs tomorrow.

I had 1 fan going and the temp got up to 101F so I had to install a second fan, this will help blow air on both inverters. The first fan was blowing in the middle of both inverters. I will read the results on Sunday since I will be gone tomorrow, heading to Vegas for the weekend. See ya all when I get back.

that is indeed not bad. you have a very nice setup and your production is way up there. i'm somewhat certain that you are producing far more than you need, but nowadays you never know. i know you produce more than i would need.

as to my radio i just got another rig and i'm not sure if you're up on the radios out there nowadays. i've got the kenwood ts2000x. i need antenna work done, but i also need to get more cable and a new mast. i want to get this stuff as hardline and a better quality mast as i don't wish to keep replacing it every 10-15 years. i'm not getting any younger. you've got some room for wire antennas i'm sure so if you want to you could start back up. there's lots of repeaters on all of the vhf and uhf bands in calif that with a modest antenna properly placed (no interference with pvs) would give you plenty of com ability. hey if you get active again try to let me know either here, on northern arizona wind and sun's forum, or get my email via callsign lookup, qrz. you could also use the pm features on naws and here if henry has it activated. i didn't try it here. btw, if you do want to get back into it you have to take your test all over again as your license expired 10 years ago. fear not it's not as hard as it was then as you don't need code anymore and the tests are easier now than back then imo.

btw, in answering your question i haven't heard too many complaints on your pvs. i'd suspect if anything would go wrong that it'll be within the first year most of the time so keep one eye open for anything unusual.

I'm mot sure how Fronius records data, if it has any memory in the inverter, or if it's all outside, in some other device, like the GT series, which if I loose a month of data, there is no way to recover it. The inverter only remembers the total KW generated.
